If you’re in need of a good basket-weaving tutorial, Brett Bara provides one over on Design*Sponge. To make her basket, Brett folded and sewed brown packing-paper strips (from shipments of online purchases) into thick pieces, then skillfully wove them together.
Other types of paper, or rolls of 35mm film (like this basket), among other materials — which may or may not involve sewing — could be used.
